This week is going to be VERY interesting.

My thesis got in to ANOTHER exhibition. The Corcoran Alumni Exhibition.
Its going to be up during the NEXT 2012 show.
I’m way too excited!

This past weekend had the openings for the ATTENTION: corcoran print portfolio 2012 and Excellence in Printmaking. We’ve gotten great notes from many that the Attention opening was fantastic and the show was even better than years before. While the Excellence was also a strong show, no one from the corcoran was selected as grand prize (which is disappointing because they gave us a shout out for having the most innovative work at our age.) Alas.
In other news, I have a few things up my sleve for unveiling soon. More prints more screen prints. Hopefully i’ll get around to doing a few massive lithos.
Also, totally going to SGCI, any one else?

Enforce attention like deep harmony(WIP) 2011. Digital film print.
This is my newest muse. Some how, I’ve found a new (mental) place to be because of this new set of imagery . I’m not sure if it’s good or not yet but I hope my work will flourish at this point.

Screenprinted this sucker. My co-worker drew the ribcage and i printed it, i’m thinking i may do the other side, make it colaberative. IT ALSO GLOWS IN THE DARK! I love screenprinting so.

I finished and submitted to the national gallary portrait contest. I wont find out if i’m a semi finalist until april 2012, Five whole months. I am nervous in every sense. Most of my faculty is behind me on this work, and so are my classmates. I with every fiber of my being, can only hope. If anything, there’s always in another 3 years. I’m excited to have the work up and i’m currently working on another print series.
