So my first major project of my graduate level screenprint class is this monstrocity of wall paper! I did this all by my self, done in 16 hours. I’m still amazed on how well it did come out.

Anyways what this is:
Wall Panels of repeating portrait panels and ceramic objects that are about 1ft diameter and about 2 1/2 feet tall. (these are big mothers. HEAVY MOTHERS) They will eventually be glazed in a majoilica and be decaled with the same image that it will sit in front of.

Well lets take it back to the beginning, this is my FIRST screen print.. EVER. (seriously..) EVER! I made this my sophmore year at the corcoran- to think that was only two years ago now!
My Prints at Midterm! Crit went swimmingly! YES! Lets see how photoplates go and possibly more stones?

Oh dear cheese. CMYK PROCESS. Lets put it simply, why screen print when you could just print it digitally? WELL ILL TELLYOU WHY, its more work, but you can make shit shiny and textured.

“Duality, what do I see in you?” 2010 screenprint
2 print series. I think this is much more sucessfull than target with 4 faces in teal… What do you think?
I think the drawing is much stronger than what the screen prints going to be. We’ll see!! (is it me or the face in profile look like jim Morrison?? )
